Rockwell This Week, ESC Interns Visit Tonight!

Tonight at the Rockwell House!

We will welcome a few interns from the St. Louis Episcopal Service Corps Program.  ESC interns spend a year living in community doing service work in their community and tonight members of Deaconess Ann House are coming to tell us all about it!  Check out their website here!

Also, our very own Hamilton Cook will be leading the reflection, so come support him and hear all about post-college service/gap year opportunities with ESC.

We begin at 7:10pm and go until about 9pm. If you can't make it to the whole event, please come for as long as you are able.  If you've never prayed with us before, we meet in the chapel behind the Rockwell House to celebrate the Eucharist, unless it's cold, then we are in the house.  It's casual, open, and relaxing worship.  If you need directions, go here.  Caroline Spore will be picking up as many people as she can fit into her car at the South 40 Clock Tower at 6:55pm.

If you want a more detailed description of our Sunday night gathering go here!

Bring your friends and stay as long as you wish!

Mark your calendar for May Break
Interested in service work?  Interested in  mission? Love to travel?  Love good times with friends?  Then go on May break with us!  Following finals week we will drive down to New Orleans to be hosted by Trinity Episcopal Church to engage in mission with Eden House, a women's shelter helping women get off the streets.  We will announce the planning meetings soon! The dates for the trip are May 8-14.  A long weekend.

The Feast
Every Wednesday at 6:30pm we will meet at the Rockwell House for a little small-group eating and prayer.  We'll cook something together every week (we'll provide the food) and we'll have night prayers and a reflection all during the meal! It's a great way to settle down in the chaos of the mid-week, and it's also a great way to eat and pray compline with friends.

The Rockwell House
The Rockwell House is for you!  T.V., internet, quiet, a kitchen for your personal use, a quick get-a-way from the chaos of campus.  There is a code to the front door that you'll receive at our first worship service.  You are welcome to use the Rockwell House for small gatherings, cooking, music practice, quiet space, etc...
