Rockwell House this Week 10-6-13

Tonight at the Rockwell House
Tonight during our regular worship together at the Rockwell House we learn what "you can say to a mulberry tree" if  you have faith the size of a mustard seed.

We'll have baked pasta and freshly baked brownies for dessert.  It's a beautiful fall day out, so come celebrate with us!

We begin at 7:10pm and eat around 8pm.  If you can't make it to the whole event, please come for as long as you are able.  If you've never prayed with us before, we meet in the chapel behind the Rockwell House to celebrate the Eucharist.  It's casual, open, and relaxing worship.  If you need directions, go here.  Caroline Spore will be picking up as many people as she can fit into her car at the...

Bishop Coming Tonight!

Tonight at the Rockwell House
Bishop Smith will join us this evening for our regular Sunday worship and dinner.  It's been about 5 years since he made an official visit to Rockwell, so if you were only going to worship with Episcopal Campus Ministry once this semester, this is the night to do it! The bishop will lead the worship and he'll even teach and lead a conversation during/after our dinner.  It will be fantastic!

Welcome back to school!  Episcopal Campus Ministry starts back up this Sunday at 7:10pm.  The new time will hopefully accommodate some scheduling conflicts.  We will still worship first and have dinner following our worship together.  We are inside the house until in warms up, so come to the front door, grab a seat and get your prayer on!  The fire will be crackling and the mood will be festive, so bring yourself, bring a friend, and take a break from the chaos of college.

Upcoming @ the Rockwell House

NO ROCKWELL HOUSE TONIGHT! Rockwell House is on a break tonight since most of you will be traveling and settling back into St. Louis.  We will be having The Feast on Wednesday night at 6:30pm. It's Christ the King Sunday, which means that next week is Advent 1, the liturgical new year and the beginning of our preparation for Christmas. Believe it or not The Rockwell House has only three Sunday gatherings for the rest of the semester, including the Advent Party which is going to be amazing.   Below you will see the schedule for the remainder of the calendar year.

November 28: The Feast
December 2: Advent 1 (we begin worshiping inside the house)
December 2-8: Week of Guided Prayer (see details below)
December: 5 The last Feast of the semester
