Weekly e-News October 14

Tonight!
Tonight at the Rockwell House we're going to find out how hard it really is to get a camel through the eye of a needle!  There may or may not be a camel present.  I'm going to guess that, in fact, there won't be.  A needle might make an appearance though.

Per usual, we'll meet in the chapel (behind Rockwell House) at 6:30 and have dinner following the service. We'll have a really good casserole for dinner that is sure to not disappoint.

For South 40 residents looking for a ride over to the Rockwell House, meet at the clock tower at 6:15 and look for Caroline in her gold Toyota Camry.

Rockwell This Sunday!

Welcome to a new school year and another year of Rockwell House!  We begin our worship together as a community this Sunday at 6:30pm.  If you've never prayed with us before, we meet in the chapel behind the Rockwell House to celebrate the Eucharist.  It's casual, open, and relaxing worship.  If you need directions, go here.

Following the worship service this weekend we will have a little cookout.  We'll provide the burgers, bean burgers, hot dogs, baked beans, chips, etc...and you get to socialize with your fellow Rockwellians.  Every Sunday we prepare the food for you to provide the highest level of spiritual hospitality possible.

We usually wrap things up by 8:30, but it's fairly common for people to come late or leave early based on schedule conflicts.

Is Summer Really Here!?

Rockwell House has slowed down for school year.  Sunday nights are quiet, weekday traffic is lighter, and the weeds are growing as faster than I can cut them!  We've got some furniture rearranging and some other minor updates, but not real major re-mods happening at the house this summer.

We do have 2 residents living at the house and the tea kettle is always up for a brew, so stop by if you are in the neighborhood.

Until the Fall!
